When finding parts, and pieces for your engine wiring or vehicle conversion, its always best to get absolutely everything you can. If the salvage yard offers you the option of a parts buffet, then specify that you need: The engine wiring, LS engine, ECM, pedal, TAC module, transmission controller, all accessory brackets, with the belts.
More specifically you want a full pull out engine, if you plan on going with factory brackets, this is the best way. Even if you don't ultimately end up using the factory brackets, you can always sell them on Ebay or CL to fund the new brackets.
By saying the word full pull out engine, you are requesting to have the engine / drive-train pulled out of the donor vehicle, without the salvage yard picking over it. Most salvage yards break down the LS1, LS6 and LS3 engine to make way more money, a la carte style.

Custom Stand Alone Wire Harness - This is the one for you if you didn't receive the fuel injection harness with your engine. New harness built from scratch, color coded then configured to fit perfect. Every wire harness comes complete with new wire, genuine GM connectors, and terminals. We also crimp all terminals using GM tools; then solder the terminals.
Modification Wire Harness - You must have the harness off of the donor LS6, LS2, LS1, LS7 engine, undamaged. We then re-configure, and tail out what needs to be used to run the engine and transmission correctly. The wire harness also has a new look to it, when you get it back.
Conversion Wire Harness - If you have a stock TBI fuel injected truck or a S10 or Sonoma with a Vortec 4.3L or a 2.2L and want to change the engine to an LT1 or LS1. Speed Scene Wiring will marry the two harnesses together to make one.This is the only way we recommend. Due to the fact that if the harness is not converted the dash, four wheel drive, ABS and on board computer will not function, like GM engineered.
