Vortec Big Block

The wire harness above caters to the 1998 Vortec Big Block. This application did not require us to run full emissions so all connectors that were not needed were not added. This SSW wire harness is built from scratch with GM connectors, terminals and seals. The Vortec for this year has four HO2 sensors,( two pre, two post). The trans application is the 4L80E. This transmission is one of the strongest GM has to offer.This is not the greatest choice for a top end racer (over 125 MPH) the internal pump is not rated to pump / flow trans oil over this. In other words if you stay over 125 MPH for longer than 3min, the next day you will be purchasing a new 4L80E. You say you have good luck with cars; you will need it. I recommend a turbo 400 with a Gear Vendor overdrive unit for the mad cat over 150 MPH crowd.
